Get ready to hang with Georgie and the “The Losers Club” gang just in time for Halloween with Replay Lincoln Park's newest pop-up: It, based on the Stephen King novel and horror films. Beginning Friday, October 11, Replay Lincoln Park will transform into the disquieting town of Derry, Maine, home of Pennywise the Clown, eponymous being who emerges from the sewer to scare all the children. Through October 31, guests are invited to travel back to the 1980s and experience the chills and thrills for themselves. But, be prepared, because Pennywise can be extremely sneaky and deceiving.
Featuring custom artwork and several scary photo opportunities designed by local artists, guests may visit notable Derry destinations including the run-down, abandoned house near the train yard at 29 Neibolt Street, where “The Losers Club” constantly frequent in hopes of confronting It and an 80s aesthetic area with Tube TVs and various knick-knacks. The pop-up will also have a funhouse complete with mirrors, a popcorn machine and will be home to several events including It trivia, a Derry Afternoon Day Party, various costume contests, karaoke and more. Those not afraid to stand by the sewer that Georgie gets dragged into can take a photo to see if they might finally be able to catch a glimpse of the dancing clown. Regardless of what destination individuals visit, hearts will be pumping as guests are invited to check out the scary, not scary, and very scary doors with surprises behind each, many red balloons and Pennywise scaring children everywhere in sight.

Yacht rock in all its groovy, sunscreen-scented glory at the second-annual Yacht Rock Halloween Extravaganza at Bar Biscay, on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31. Fins Up, Chicago’s preeminent yacht rock DJ duo, will play from 10 p.m. into the wee hours (last call at 1:30 a.m.). Sip vermouth shots with the friendly Biscay bartenders and don't be shy to order a Miller High Life if that's your go-to. Expect porrons to be passed around and a flamingo koozie or two.
City Hall
Storm Area 51 this Halloween. At Chicago's newest City Hall that is... Don your best costumes and expect themed-drink specials, a live DJ and dance floor, and elaborate decor throughout the massive bar, restaurant and event space, including crashed UFOs and projection mapping around the space making it feel out-of-this-world. Chicago's only German-Southern mash-up is getting funky this Halloween... Funkenhausen's costume will be disguising itself for one day into Funkback Steakenhausen. On Halloween only, expect a menu of Aussie favorites reminiscent of the worldwide chain, such as: coconut shrimp on the barbie; Outback-inspired sürfenturfen, the restaurant's signature play on Surf n Turf; Rachel’s Australian pumpernickel pretzel with honey butter; Koala stew (its just baked potato soup, relax); and a 'Chocolate Thunder from Down Under' dessert. And, of course, the menu would not be complete without Chef Mark's take on a bloomin' onion, the Bloomin' Funion.

"The Nightmare Before Halloween: A Tim Burton Experience"
The interactive adventure will take guests through a portal to a magical and sinister world from October 17th - November 3. In addition to photo backdrop moments from BeetleJuice (tiptoe through the graveyards and sandworms), Edward Scissorhands (spooky castle with trimmed shrubs) and Sweeney Todd (beware of the barber chair), guests can sip spooky cocktails, take part in Tim Burton themed trivia as well as costume contents.
If patrons can pry them from bartenders skeleton hands, they can bite into three flavors of boozy candied apples - Pumpkin Spiced Rum Apple with milk chocolate and pumpkin spiced walnuts, Sour Mash Whiskey with caramel and pretzels, and Vanilla Vodka with white chocolate and pretzels. Additional Tim Burton inspired beverages include three flavors of adult Capri Sun pouches, like Ox Blood with Stolen X, Cappelleti, Pomegranate, lemon and rooibos tea.

On October 31, The Izakaya at Momotaro will celebrate Halloween “Monster Island” style. Guests are encouraged to show off their best costume digs as staff will be fully dressed in Halloween attire. Replay Lincoln Park
Get ready to hang with Georgie and the “The Losers Club” gang just in time for Halloween with Replay Lincoln Park's newest pop-up: It, based on the Stephen King novel and horror films. Beginning Friday, October 11, Replay Lincoln Park will transform into the disquieting town of Derry, Maine, home of Pennywise the Clown, eponymous being who emerges from the sewer to scare all the children. Through October 31, guests are invited to travel back to the 1980s and experience the chills and thrills for themselves. But, be prepared, because Pennywise can be extremely sneaky and deceiving.
Featuring custom artwork and several scary photo opportunities designed by local artists, guests may visit notable Derry destinations including the run-down, abandoned house near the train yard at 29 Neibolt Street, where “The Losers Club” constantly frequent in hopes of confronting It and an 80s aesthetic area with Tube TVs and various knick-knacks. The pop-up will also have a funhouse complete with mirrors, a popcorn machine and will be home to several events including It trivia, a Derry Afternoon Day Party, various costume contests, karaoke and more. Those not afraid to stand by the sewer that Georgie gets dragged into can take a photo to see if they might finally be able to catch a glimpse of the dancing clown. Regardless of what destination individuals visit, hearts will be pumping as guests are invited to check out the scary, not scary, and very scary doors with surprises behind each, many red balloons and Pennywise scaring children everywhere in sight.
Replay Lincoln Park will also offer a specialty cocktail menu for the duration of the pop-up including This is It, a black vodka, cherry juice soda with pearl dust garnish; Winter Fire, made from Maestro Dobel Tequila and muddled blackberry smash topped with a flaming rosemary garnish; The S.S. Georgie, a rye old fashioned with a Luxardo Cherry Sangue Morlacco float; A Pennywise Punch, combining dark, light and spiced rum with passion fruit and fresh citrus juices; and a homemade pumpkin spice sparkling, spiked seltzer.

ROOF on theWit, Chicago’s original rooftop set 27 stories above it all in the heart of downtown at 201 N State St, is getting in the spooky spirit this Halloween season. Featuring back to back special events, Chicagoans will enjoy a Madonna Tribute Party this Saturday, October 19 during her exclusive weeklong concert at the Chicago Theatre, followed by A Funhouse Halloween Party on Saturday, October 26, where guests are highly encouraged to dress in theme or risk being fed to the lions. Casati’s, 444 W. Fullerton Parkway, the family owned, modern Italian restaurant in Lincoln Park, is bringing Halloween back to the 80’s this year with their Hallo’s Eve 80’s Throw Back Bash on Wednesday, October 30. From 9:30 p.m. – midnight, Casati’s DJ will be spinning 80’s music and guests are encouraged to attend in their best 80’s threads. New Belgium swag bag prizes will be given out for the "best pumpkin", "most creative" and "the ugliest". Pumpkins are first-come, first-served and only available while supplies last. Guests will be offered a seasonal Pumpkin Butter Cake for $18. The dessert features Mastro's signature warm butter cake with the addition of real pumpkin and seasonal hard spices which is topped and baked with pumpkin pie spiced cream cheese, finished with caramelized raw sugar, and served with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and homemade whipped cream.
Candy Corn Old Fashioned at Morton's
Guests who visit Morton's the Steakhouse will be offered a Halloween-themed Candy Corn Old Fashioned for $12 each or $9.50 during Morton's Power Hour (hours vary by location). The fall drink features Jack Daniels, orange bitters, and Monin Candy Corn Syrup, garnished with candy corn in a bamboo side car.
