Live Entertainment Wine Steakhouse Lincoln Square

Neighbored by fun and local eating establishments like Garcia’s and Barba Yianni, Artango Bar and Steakhouse serves up a lively Argentine nightlife experience! Enjoy live Latin music Thursday through Saturday evenings while indulging and imbibing in Argentine staples.

Start the evening meal off with an order of Pulpo A La Parilla - octopus charred to tender perfection and marinated in kale, cherry tomatoes, garlic and chili oil and served with roasted potatoes. Or go the cheesy route with the Provoleta - melted provolone cheese, cherry tomatoes and chimichurri. Other appetizer highlights include the Ensalada De Endivias with grilled endive, missed greens, brie cheese, butternut squash, cherries, candied hazelnuts and drizzled with a honey vinaigrette. A variety of ceviche are available for the lighter side of things. But of course, no Argentine meal is quite complete with some Empanadas featuring daily specials, beef and olives, ham and cheese or corn and mozzarella. You can even take a little break and learn to Tango on Artango’s dance floor while enjoying live music.

Argentina is famous for its Malbec wine and pairs well with the red meats on offer at Artango. The bartenders mix up balanced cocktails as well to get your dancing feet moving and to cleanse the palate.

The entrée and the grilled meats menu boasts dishes popping with flavor that can be shared or consumed by one. The Paella Del Sur (Small for 1-2 people for $34 and Large for 3-4 people is $51) features fresh and rotating seafoods and is a house favorite. The grill menu is filled with juicy and cuts of red meat, sausages and chicken. All of Artango’s beef is locally raised and grilled traditional gaucho-style. Each dish is served with homemade chimichurri, malbec sauce and hand cut fried potatoes. The Asado Argentino or Asado De Pollo can be shared. Dance off all that protein with your newly learned Tango skills before returning to the table for dessert.

Tengo Mil Novias may sound like a weird thing to order but at Artango, it is perhaps the signature dessert on the menu. The plate arrives with four plump blueberries looking up at a four-layer tower of thin, flaky puff pastry glued together with the tastiest dollops of passion fruit mousse. It is then drizzled with dulce de leche crème and dusted with coconut flakes to finish. The dessert is light and airy but flavorful enough to finish off a protein-packed meal with a little sweetness. Other notable desserts include the Oblivion, a chocolate mousse cake topped with dulce de leche ice cream, Crème Anglaise and coco nibs; and the San Telmo, flan infused in cardamom and cinnamon, topped with dulce de leche cream and crispy almond meringue.
