Marking the eatery’s 9th Chicago location to open since the concept hatched in 2006, Yolk has announced its newest location, Yolk Lincoln Park,1504 N. Fremont Ave., which is set to open its doors to the public in early spring 2019. The new location will feature updated décor and an elevated coffee program, featuring a selection of handcrafted espresso drinks and homemade syrups like Pacific Coconut Mint and Cinnamon Breakfast.
“We are so thrilled to be expanding upon the Yolk concept,” said Taki Kastanis, Founder of Yolk. “From the opening of the very first location we have wanted for Yolk to be a special place for Chicagoans, and we’re happy to be able to bring that to the Lincoln Park community. We are grateful to each of Chicago’s neighborhoods for welcoming us with open arms.”
Yolk Lincoln Park will have high bow truss ceilings, modern chairs and new flatware and glassware, taking its traditional restaurant design concept to a whole new level. Guests should expect to find the breakfast and lunch fare they’ve come to know on Lincoln Park’s menu including Yolk’s signature gourmet five-egg rolled omelet, a wide range of skillets and scramblers, Red Velvet French Toast, Nutella Crepes and many more options, along with menu items from the restaurant’s Test Kitchen located in Bucktown. Some of these culinary creations include the Breakfast Mac & Cheese, Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon and Breakfast Burrito.
After growing up in his family’s restaurants as a child and working his way up in the industry on his own, Lincoln Park resident and Founder of Yolk Taki Kastanis knew that he was destined to become a restaurateur. Not long after the first location launched in South Loop, the concept quickly expanded.
As a thank you to their customers upon opening, Yolk Lincoln Park will offer 20 percent off to those making a first time order using their app, available on Google Play or the App Store, and their website.
