Windy City Smokeout Returns in July

The Windy City Smokeout is back! The weekend-long festival, hosted by Bub City and Joe’s Bar, is returning to Chicago this year on July 14-16th.

Windy City Smokeout’s music lineup brings a group of award-winning country music stars and up-and-coming talent. Thirty acts will take the stage over the weekend, including headliners Jake Owen, ACA winner and CMA nominated Kip Moore and Lee Brice and up-and-coming artists including Luke Combs, The Steel Woods, Eli Young Band and many more. The 2017 pitmaster lineup will feature talent from Chicago and around the country including many returning favorites like 17th Street BBQ, Skylight Inn and The Salt Lick BBQ, and new additions such as Little Miss BBQ from Phoenix and Fox Bros BBQ from Atlanta. Windy City Smokeout will also offer delicious non-BBQ options from Maine Lobster, Sir Kensington’s, Texas Sausage and The Budlong plus an extensive craft beer lineup including 45 beers from 21 of the country’s best breweries.

To round out the festival, there are also a number of curated events to elevate every festival goer’s experience, including Myron Mixon’s Cooking School, a father-son Barbecue Throwdown, BBQ brunches and a Seafood Boil.
