Hybrid restaurant, bar, deli and butcher shop in Wicker Park, Chop Shop, recently debuted a brand new brunch menu. Available in the bar, second floor dining area and the rooftop patio every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm, the menu boasts traditional brunch items with special touches from Chop Shop’s in-house butcher and deli including homemade sausages, bacon, steak and prosciutto.
Menu items include Prosciutto & Melon, cantaloupe, honeydew, prosciutto and croissants ($8); Bacon Cheddar Biscuits, whipped maple brown butter ($6); Avocado Toast, grilled Italian toast, smashed avocado, cilantro, sunny side egg, chili flake and heirloom tomato salad ($7); Sausage Frittata, house-made breakfast sausage, Granny Smith apples and smoked Gouda ($10); Lobster Benedict, polenta cake, poached eggs, crab hollandaise and country potatoes ($16); and Steak and Eggs, 4 ounce hanger steak, chimichurri, country potatoes and sunny side eggs ($15).
