Given the fact all music fests and concerts have been cancelled for the time being, Whiskey Business (1367 North Milwaukee Avenue), the Wicker Park rooftop bar will be giving live-music enthusiasts another way to see some of their favorite artists with its weekly, Wednesday night concert series.
Every Wednesday, beginning at 8:30 p.m. and for $15, which includes entry and a set of headphones for an experience, ticket holders will have the chance to watch a variety of artists performing from past shows and air them on the bar’s two 120-inch screens. Every week will be dedicated to a music genre including tomorrow’s (Wednesday, Aug. 19) “alternative” theme airing past live performances from bands like Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day and Foo Fighters.
And while viewing the concert on the 3,000-square-foot rooftop, it will almost feel like life is back to normal… .
