Do any of us really need an excuse to eat pizza?! The answer is likely no, but luckily – the universe is hand delivering one anyway. Wednesday, February 9th is National Pizza Day.

In celebration of this yummy holiday – several spots across Chicago are offering can’t-miss specials.

Le Bouchon x Testaccio

This National Pizza Day, take the festivities up a notch with a wood-fired pizza showdown in Logan Square, as Oliver Poilevey (Le Bouchon, Taqueria Chingon) takes on Testaccio’s Executive Chef Jacob Solomon for some friendly European-style competition. Grab your favorite teammate (or ultimate rival) and do a side-by-side taste test of Jacob’s Italian ‘za (spicy Amatriciana sauce, smoked scamorza cheese, pickled fennel) and Oliver’s French contender (Tarte flambé with caramelized onions, creme fraiche, bacon and gruyere), alongside a bottle of wine and a seasonal salad to share.

The price is $80 for two and reservations can be made here: https://resy.com/cities/chi/te...
