Verzênay Bakery's seasonal Thanksgiving pies allows diners to choose from these selections, all sold whole or by the slice: Pumpkin (gingerbread cookie crust and chef blend of pumpkin spice mix); Apple (all-butter pie crust, Granny Smith apples, almonds, dark brown sugar, and spices); Pecan (all-butter pie crust, pecans, lyle syrup, and dark brown sugar); or the French Silk Pie (chocolate shortbread cookie crust, dark chocolate mousse, hazelnut praline feuilletine, and whipped cream).

Verzênay also creates buttery brioche dinner rolls, Savory Veggie Pie (all-butter crust, Butternut squash, spinach, caramelized onions, ricotta cheese, eggs, and sage) and quiches—choose between spinach/kale or potato/leek—for Thanksgiving breakfast or brunch.

In addition to pies, other Verzênay creations include spiced Carrot Cake, with fruits, nuts, and cream cheese mousse, topped with cream cheese frosting and garnished with fresh flowers. Available also are individual Pumpkin Cakes topped with cream cheese mousse. The Royale features layers of chocolate biscuit, hazelnut feuilletine, and milk chocolate-hazelnut praline mousse, is available for a limited time with fall chocolate decoration.

All Thanksgiving orders come with a special complimentary treat. “It is our way of saying ‘thank you for making Verzênay part of your Thanksgiving celebration. It brings us much joy,’” said Chef Farheen.
