Verve Wine (2349 N Lincoln) will hold free blind tastings June 14-16 to celebrate the Judgment of Paris, a wine competition in 1976 in which Napa County wines were rated best in each category above French wines. Attendees will play their own version of the event, tasting six mystery wines, one from France and one from California of each varietal: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon; and will then have the opportunity to guess which are new world and which are are old world. Guests will be offered a 10% discount toward purchase of the bottles poured.

The tastings will take place on Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 8pm and then on Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
