V-Day Mexican River North

Spice up your Valentine's Day dinner date with Cantina Laredo's modern Mexican cuisine and cocktails. The River North restaurant will offer a three course, $35 prix fixe menu from Saturday, February 11 to Tuesday, February 14. Chef Hector Rivera's selections, outlined below, include mango salad, creamy vegetable soup, sauteed shrimp, tropical chicken, filet mignon, strawberry bunuelos and churros. Cocktail pairings (smoky margarita; heart warmer) may be added for an additional $15. Throughout Valentine's Day weekend, the regular dinner, lunch and brunch menus will also be available.

Mango with jicama, seasoned pumpkin seeds, grapes, mint and queso fresco with a honey vinaigrette

Classic 'Rita with a hint of smoke - Los Amantes Joven Mezcal, 1800 Reposado tequila and fresh lime juice, served in a Himalayan salt-rimmed glass

Sauteed shrimp with spicy mango mole sauce

POLLO ASADA TROPICAL
Grilled chicken breast topped with monterey jack cheese and mango-avocado pico, served over two monterey jack cheese enchiladas with tomatillo sauce

FILET NEGRO PEPPERCORN 
7 oz. Certified Angus Beef filet mignon topped with black peppercorn dijon sauce
