Enjoy hors d’oeuvres from UMMO, a live paella station from Jaleo Chicago along with jamón ibérico or croquetas, curated cocktails from Pigtail, and Italian wines from Nonnina. The evening will feature entertainment, including Flamenco Dancers and live music. A silent auction will award prizes such as dining certificates, cocktail parties, and travel vouchers.

Catastrophic rainfall covered eastern Spain in late October. The event is considered one of the deadliest natural disasters in the country’s history. Over two hundred people lost their lives, and the area saw extensive property damage. Northwestern University student and Spanish native Carmen Gutiérrez De La Roza is teaming up with Somos Hospitality Group to raise awareness of the crisis, organize fundraising initiatives, including the silent auction, and provide other forms of assistance.

Tickets are $50 and include passed appetizers and live-action stations such as live-cooking Paella, a dessert table from Petterino’s Pasticceria, and two drink tickets. The proceeds from ticket sales will support World Central Kitchen and funds raised through the silent auction will be donated to the Spanish Red Cross. Tickets are available to purchase at https://posh.vip/e/relief-for-valencia
