Ina Mae Tavern & Packaged Goods Executive Chef Brian Jupiter is collaborating with Turkey & the Wolf Owner-Chef Mason Hereford to offer an exclusive New Orleans Po’Boy Sandwich in Chicago for the month of September.
The sandwich will be available from September 4th to September 29th at Ina Mae Tavern, located (1415 N. Wood St) in Wicker Park. It will include chicken fried steak, Chef Hereford’s signature bird sauce, cole slaw, pepper jelly, and dill pickles on Leidenheimer Po’Boy bread from New Orleans. A portion of the Po’Boy sales will be donated to The Southern Smoke Foundation.
“I am very excited to welcome Chef Mason for this Po’Boy collaboration at Ina Mae. I have been a fan of Chef Mason for a long time and recently had the opportunity to work with him for The Southern Smoke Foundation,” said Executive Chef Jupiter. “This collaboration offers a chance to bring some of the Turkey & the Wolf flavors to Chicago. I am confident that our guests at Ina Mae will enjoy it.”
Previous collaborations for the Po’Boy of the Month series at Ina Mae have featured Chef Danny Espinoza, Chef D’Andre Carter, Chef Donald Young, and Chef James Galbraith.
