Honey Butter Fried Chicken brings back TriBecca’s Cubano for a special one-night-only takeout popup on April 1. Chefs Josh Kulp and Christine Cikowski partnered with Chef Becca Grothe to open the Cuban-inspired concept in Revival Food Hall last year on April 1 for 3 months. TriBecca’s is the latest restaurant born out of their underground dining series Sunday Dinner Club, and the team is currently looking to find a permanent location.
The takeout night features Grothe’s take on a Cubano sandwich with local mojo roasted pork and cured ham, Wisconsin swiss cheese, chipotle mayo, housemade pickles, and mustard butter on an olive oil panino paired in a combo with bacon pepper jack mac and cheese and a banana bread griddled donut with chocolate glaze for $18.75. There is also a vegetarian combo option available for the same price with a mojo tofu Cubano sandwich and pepper jack mac and chese. Guests also have the chance to upgrade their Cubano sandwich with some seasonal Camchi Kimchi for $3 made by Grothe’s husband and Honey Butter’s Chef de Cuisine Cam Waron.
WHERE:
Takeout orders can be placed at the restaurant, online or through Caviar for delivery.
WHEN:
Monday, April 1 from 5:30-9 p.m. or while supplies last
