Tree House (149 W Kinzie St.), is a bar and restaurant slated to open in the coming weeks in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.

As its name illustrates, the concept is a nature-inspired escape for young professionals in the otherwise urban community. Tree House strikes a balance between a nostalgic, family-oriented restaurant, and a bar with nightlife.

Restaurateur and owner of Tree House, Sam Sanchez (CEO of Third Coast Hospitality Group), is joined by his daughters, Samantha Sanchez (CEO of La Luna Chicago) and Korina Sanchez (General Counsel of Third Coast Hospitality Group), to bring the concept to life. Growing up in the industry, the sister duo has experienced every angle of hospitality work along the way. While Samantha plays a visionary role and provides leadership in operations and overall management, and Korina provides strategic input on company operations and growth, their industry-veteran father provides more than 30 years of first-hand wisdom.

Tree House will be softly opening this weekend (Friday, March 19 - Sunday, March 21), inviting guests to taste the menu offerings, sip on all things spirited, and watch this weekend's March Madness games — all under a disco ball atmosphere. Reservations can be found on OpenTable.

The official grand opening will be in the beginning of April.

They’re still working on final touches, but you can get an idea of what’s to come from Chef Marco including small plates, pasta, greens and wood fired Neapolitan and Detroit Style Pizzas.
