Windy City Smokeout, the annual BBQ and country music festival, hosted by Chicago’s Bub City and Joe’s Bar, returns to Chicago on July 15 – 17 for their fourth year. More than 40,000 guests are expected to descend upon Grand Avenue near the Chicago River for a weekend-long event where attendees are able to taste offerings from some of the best BBQ talent and country music’s biggest names.
This year’s culinary lineup includes the best BBQ talent from Chicago and around the country. The 2016 Windy City Smokeout menu will feature a variety of barbeque classics available a la carte, including:

Hogapalooza – Wynne, AR
Jack’s Old South – Unadilla, GA
Pappy’s Smokehouse – St. Louis, MO
The Salt Lick BBQ – Driftwood, TX

In addition to the delicious BBQ lineup, Windy City Smokeout will also cater to tastes across the board with offerings from Big Gay Ice Cream, Three Dots and a Dash, Sir Kensington’s, Drago's Seafood, and The Salsa Truck.
Windy City Smokeout will also host a number of special, ticketed events throughout the weekend. Kicking it off on Friday, Myron Mixon, four-time world barbecue champion, will host Myron Mixon Cooking School for a hands-on experience where guests will learn how to be a true pitmaster ($500). On Saturday, guests can enjoy a Lobster and Moët Brunch with Maine Lobster and Moët & Chandon champagne ($80), a Jack Daniels Family Tasting ($50), and a Bubbles & Brine seafood happy hour hosted by Saveur, Drago’s Seafood and Moët & Chandon ($75). On Sunday, festivalgoers can dig into a BBQ Brunch featuring a variety of dishes from each of the pitmasters and a Belvedere Bloody Mary Bar ($80), enjoy a Jack Daniels Family Tasting ($55) and a Burger & Bourbon Happy Hour hosted by Saveur, Jefferson’s Bourbon and Bub City ($65). The price of each ticketed event includes a festival day pass for the day of the event, with the exception of Myron Mixon’s Cooking School.

Nearly twenty acts will take the stage over the weekend including Chase Rice, Phil Vassar and Jessie James Decker on Friday, July 15; ACM and CMA nominated Billy Currington, Big & Rich with special guest Cowboy Troy and Whiskey Myers on Saturday, July 16; and Old Dominion, rising country star Maren Morris and Corey Smith closing out the festival on Sunday, July 17. Nashville's renowned Whiskey Jam will also host their own stage with the future stars of country.
