The WhiskyX started in Brooklyn in 2017 with the goal of offering the world's most sought-after and innovative brown spirits with new emerging whiskies under one roof in an approachable, exciting night of discovery. The WhiskyX experience will let attendees sample approximately 60 whisky brands led by the industry's distillers and brand ambassadors.
The first-ever Chicago rendition of the festival takes place on Friday, April 27th at The United Club at Soldier Field.
The WhiskyX will feature some Chicago chefs serving whiskey-inspired and infused dishes for VIP ticket holders. Participating chefs include Jimmy Bannos (Heaven On Seven); Cedric Harden, John Hogan, Tony Mantuano and Ken Pritz (River Roast); and chef Tadashi Nagura (Slurping Turtle)
Several of the city's food trucks will be on-site selling food through the duration of the event as well: American Glory Food Truck; Bop Bar Truck; Ćevapčići Chicago; Chicago Lunchbox; Da Lobsta Food Truck; Izakaya Yume; La Cocinita Chicago and Porkchop Chicago.

The WhiskyX offers three ticket options: VIP, General Admission, and Designated Driver. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Tickets can be purchased via www.thewhiskyx.com.
The VIP Ticket is $125/person and includes early entry, access to special whisky tastings, exclusive signature dishes from the city's most acclaimed chefs, interactive lifestyle experiences, a live musical performance by American folk band The
Mowgli’s, and more.
The General Admission Ticket is
$75/person and includes access to interactive whisky and lifestyle
experiences and the live musical performance.
The Designated Driver Ticket
is $50/person and includes access to lifestyle experiences and the live
musical performance only. All Designated Driver Tickets must be over
the age of 21 and under no circumstances are they permitted to consume
alcohol.
