Third Annual “West Loop Shakedown" on April 3rd

WHEN: Monday, April 3 at 6pm-9pm

WHERE: Nellcote | 833 W. Randolph Street 

WHAT: The Third Annual West Loop Shakedown and official after-hours party of the Second Annual Chicago Cocktail Summit, hosted by Ji Suk Yi of Windy City LIVE, in collaboration with Banhez Mezcal, will bring together top West Loop bar talent for a cocktail competition in benefit of Chicago Public Schools. Each participant will make any style of cocktail using Banhez Mezcal, a floral and fruit-forward mezcal with touches of pineapple and banana, perfect for first-time mezcal tasters and cocktail innovation — to incorporate the theme of “bridging the flavor gap” — and present it to the panel of judges. The judges will choose the winning cocktail based on presentation, creativity and taste. Attendees will also be able to select the “People's Choice” winner. Tickets include tasting portions of cocktails from each participating bartender/venue, flatbread stations and passed appetizers.
