The Whistler and Revolution Brewing Release Collaborative Beer

Logan Square craft cocktail and live performance spot The Whistler complements its cocktail experience with a signature beer crafted in collaboration with its long-time Logan Square neighbor at Revolution Brewing (2323 N. Milwaukee Ave.). The two neighborhood mainstays have released Whistler Gold. 

The goal of the special brew is to celebrate the crafty essence of The Whistler with its inaugural, custom, house-draft: a dry-hopped golden ale that is approachable, yet artisanal. The Whistler team and Revolution’s Quality and Innovation Lead Brewer, Marty Scott, sat down together to create a brew that embodies the “house beer” sentiment without the connotation of predictability that usually accompanies a
house beer.

Whistler Gold is a golden ale dry-hopped with a copious helping of Fuggle hops, an English hop variety with a
distinctly earthy aroma. This “sessionable” beer features the wood and fruit aromas characteristic of a double IPA with the flavor of a crisp traditional English summer beer.
