CHICAGO, IL (JULY 22, 2015) – The Portage, sister restaurant of recently opened Community Tavern, is hosting an exclusive paired rosé dinner in the heat of the summer. Head to the Portage Park neighborhood favorite to enjoy a summery four-course dinner paired with four fruitful rosé wines on Wednesday, July 22nd.
Chef Joey Beato has created a sumptuous four-course menu for the evening, featuring Sockeye Salmon Sashimi, Poached Gulf Prawns, Miller Farms Chicken Thigh Pave, and a Grilled Peach Frozen Yogurt. Each dish will be paired with a refreshing and unique glass of rosé. There are two seatings at 6pm and 8pm; $45 per person.

Wednesday, August 12th – Beer Dinner with One Trick Pony, featuring 4 courses with beer pairings. $45 per person with seatings at 6pm and 8pm.
Wednesday, September 9th – Beer Dinner with Ale Syndicate, featuring 4 courses with beer pairings. $45 per person with seatings at 6pm and 8pm.
Aside from paired dinners, The Portage also offers a Fried Chicken Dinner special every Sunday. Guests can choose from traditional fried chicken, which comes with bacon gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes and coleslaw, or the Korean-style fried chicken, which comes with sweet chili harissa sauce, broccolini, house pickles and rice vinegar slaw. The half bird dinner (serves 2-3 people) is $14 and a full bird (serves 4-5) is $25.
