The Metropolitan, a private club of Invited Clubs portfolio, has announced its 50th anniversary with a gala on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 6-10 p.m. The gala will be an evening of cuisine, live entertainment, and immersive experiences. Guests will be provided a live performance by Three Martini Jeannie, playing classic hits through the decades, along with opportunities for photo ops, red carpet interviews, and a golf simulator lounge. Additionally, those who sign up for membership during the event will receive a $50 initiation fee for that night only.
Attendees can partake in a seafood lounge, featuring shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, and lobster bisque shooters, alongside a carving station offering premium cuts like beef tenderloin and leg of lamb. The evening will also include live-action stations serving up cacio e pepe pasta from a parmesan wheel and a made-to-order Caesar salad. For dessert, cherries jubilee and an assortment of mini pastries will be served. Guests will also be offered an ice luge in the Martini Lounge as well as other classic cocktails.
