As life returns to a more normal state, people are more eager than ever to embrace holiday festivity after missing out on so much tradition the past year - which we are already seeing signs of as holiday movies, Christmas décor and Starbucks holiday cups have made their debut.
The Gwen Hotel Chicago has announced their seasonal programming – from Curling and Cocktails now through spring to the restaurant Kostali’s Thanksgiving To Go and Sex and the Ci-Tea Tipsy Tea over Black Friday weekend.
Curling & Cocktails at The Gwen
Runs through Spring
Make the most out of winter with Curling + Cocktails in the heart of the Chicago. Upstairs at the Gwen Terrace, features seasonal Curling from now through spring. Reservations are available in 45-minute intervals and features one of the hotel’s Signature Curling Cocktails for each registered guest. Groups are capped to 10 people on the rink at a given time. For larger parties there is a separate link to book.
The rink is non-traditional rink (ie: not made of ice) and measures 8’ x 32’. Guests can enjoy the game with eight (x8) granite stones and/or eight (x8) “pro” stones, which are smaller and lighter.

The Gwen’s Tipsy Tea Party, at the hotel’s restaurant, Kostali is available Saturdays and Sundays with seatings at 12pm and 2:30pm. The reimagined twist on traditional high tea is complete with small bites and cocktails.
This Thanksgiving skip the stress and the kitchen mess and instead serve Thanksgiving at home by Kostali. The menu includes Publican Bread & grilled pita with Za’atar and spreads, multiple sides, Prime Ribeye of Beef and Roasted Turkey Breast and choice of Pecan Pie or Pumpkin Pie as well as a bottle of Red or White wine per order.
Get the Girls back together for a themed Tipsy Tea for Black Friday weekend. Find out who is a Samantha and who is more of a Carrie; either way Kostali will have custom curated bites and cocktails to celebrate the gal pals bringing a bit of NYC to Chicago.
