In honor of Pride Month, The Goddess and Grocer is once again donating a portion of their Goddess Rainbow Cake sales to Center on Halsted, the community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people of Chicagoland. More than 1,000 community members visit the Center every day, located in the heart of Chicago's Lakeview Neighborhood.
$1 per slice ($7), $8 per 8 inch cake ($60 / serves 12-15)), and $10 per 10 inch cake ($80 / serves 20) will be donated throughout June 2020. All orders must be placed 48 hours in advance. Cakes can be picked up for free at any Goddess and Grocer location.
The Goddess Rainbow Cake features six layers of rainbow-colored cake with delicious vanilla buttercream frosting and decorated with colored sprinkles.
