Chicago Marathon Menu Available October 9-13, 2024
In celebration of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, the Albert presents a special menu October 10-14, 2024. Priced at $38 per person (or $48 per person with a glass of wine), the carb-centric menu is informed by Chef Chiappetti’s Italian heritage and features:
Starter
Arugula salad with beets, aged goat cheese, red onion, and balsamic dressing
Seared ahi tuna loin served with Calabrian chili aioli
Choice of Pasta
Braised short rib ravioli with candied walnuts and cacio e pepe
Tagliatelle with rich Bolognese
Garganelli with braised shrimp, peas and lobster cream sauce
House-made gnocchi with fresh tomato and pesto
Dessert
Flourless dark chocolate cake with fresh berries

Celebrating Thanksgiving with Chef Chiappetti’s all-day holiday buffet on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Featuring both traditional and new favorites, guests will experience an antipasti buffet filled with house-made crostini and flatbreads, cured meats and cheeses, salads, carving stations, homemade pies and cakes and more:

Cheese tortellini with fresh basil tomato sauce
Roasted mint carrots
Sicilian mushrooms

Live Jazz Wednesdays and Half-Off Bottles of Wine at the Albert
Every Wednesday night, guests can tune into the live sounds of the Steve Knight Trio, a jazz group from DePaul University’s school of music. The trio performs from 5 to 8 p.m. A bottle of wine for half-off every Wednesday, too.

Mushrooms Galore – Thursday, October 24, 6:30 to 9 p.m., $55 per person. Explore the world of mushrooms in peak season and how to cook with this ingredient. Chef Steve Chiappetti will walk you through how to select mushrooms for their flavor profiles...and then what do with them in the kitchen, Wine specialist Kyle Heathman pairs this hearty option as it is presented in bites with Super Tuscan wines.
Sicilian-Style Pizza Archive Lounge + Half Off Wine Wednesdays
Recently opened by Chef Chiappetti in the second floor loft at Hotel EMC2, Archive Lounge is inspired by farmlands, waters and the cuisine of Sicily’s streets. Crunchy, artisan pizzas are topped with Wisconsin cheeses, garden fresh veggies, or traditional meats and topped with spice blends. Additional menu items consist of shareable cicchetti (snacks). A hand-selected wine library takes guests thru Italy, with inspiring wines produced by small vineyards. Every Wednesday, guests can choose from half-off all wine bottle selections at Archive Lounge.
