On Saturday, May 5 Tatas Tacos, in Portage Park, will open. Tatas is a family owned Mexican restaurant inspired by Marci Berner and Julia Paphitis. They believe in locally grown and sourced ingredients to deliver traditional Mexican dishes with warm hospitality.
In celebration of Cinco de Mayo and Chicago’s love of tacos, Tatas Tacos will open on Saturday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. where they will be serving fresh water Tilapia tacos, a Mexican inspired burger called The Tatas Burger, authentic gordita’s dipped in their home-made chile guajillo sauce, and much more.
Tatas Tacos will be open Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
