Sweetgreen will open its 23rd location in Illinois by expanding in Chicago’s Loop neighborhood on Tuesday, October 29th at 151 N. Franklin Street. The restaurant brand brings its menu of salads, warm bowls, protein plates, and sides, featuring the Crispy Rice Bowl alongside protein-focused options such as the Caramelized Garlic Steak and the new limited-time-only Autumn Harvest Bowl.
For every meal purchased on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Nourishing Hope for people in Chicago facing food insecurity. Nourishing Hope has been a resource for over 50 years, ensuring that over 70,000 families throughout Chicago have enough to eat each year and always have access to critical wraparound services.
To celebrate opening day, guests will be offered giveaways from local partners, including Sweet Home Chicago Hats from Alice & Wonder, a coffee + latte bar from Nood Coffee, and coffee mugs from Sweetgreen, while supplies last.
The new location is 2,380 sq ft, and will accommodate up to 16 diners inside. The location will be the first in downtown Chicago to utilize Sweetgreen’s Infinite Kitchen technology, automating the process of assembling meals. The location will be open 10:30 AM - 8:00 PM daily.
