Arami, located in West Town, will hold "Sushi 101" classes on three consecutive Wednesdays, May 20, May 27 and June 3. Chef de Cuisine Nelson Vinansaca will lead a culinary course in Japanese cuisine. Participating guests will learn how to best prepare sushi rice, proper knife practices for slicing tuna and salmon, and various techniques of sushi making (maki; sashimi; nigiri). Following the class, a three course sushi dinner will be served.
