The summer culinary events below at The Drake Oak Brook will take place in tandem with their recently reopened gardens for the summer season.

  • Summer High Tea: Served in the historic Colonial Room, the hotel’s Summer High Tea features sparkling mimosas upon arrival, an array of teatime towers surrounded by bright florals, seasonal pastries and sandwiches from Chef Ezequiel, tableside tea-timers, wide selection of plant-based and herbal teas and more. Summer High Tea takes place Saturdays from 2-5pm and Select Sundays in June. The price is $55 for Adults, $25 for children, Children 3 and under are free. 
  • Dessert by Starlight: Away from the artificial lighting of the city the hotel’s Dessert by Starlight experience includes a private setup in the 10-acre gardens with a reserved telescope and star map, dessert and wine pairing, blankets and chairs beneath wide-open, twinkling views of the night sky. The price is $75/person.
  • New Proposal Package w/ Private Dining in Speakeasy-style Sinatra Room: Amidst the history and melodies of Frank Sinatra, couples can plan an engagement away from the city in the secluded English-style estate. Home to the same 10-acre gardens frequented by Sinatra after arriving by helicopter from his Chicago performances, the new proposal packages brings guests amidst a private gardens. Afterwards, the newly engaged couple have private access to the hotel’s speakeasy-style Sinatra Room—a hidden venue with private bar and Rat Pack history such as a retro phone booth—for a 4-course dining experience, signature cocktails and Sinatra playing in the background. 
  • Cigar Dinners: The estate’s next Cigar Dinner is on June 22nd complete with a four-course dining menu including a Crusted Rack of Lamb and Chilled Carrot and Ginger Bisque, live music and a premium pack of three assorted high-end cigars. Pricing is $140/person,
