Strings Ramen marks the 150th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, by hosting The Great Chicago Fire Hell Ramen Challenge on Friday, October 8th.
This first-ever group version of Strings' Hell Ramen Challenge, will be held at 2pm Friday, October 8th -- on the 150th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire, in the patio tent of Strings Ramen's Lakeview location, 919 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago.
Up to 18 brave souls will struggle their way through the fiery heat of Strings' Level 5 Hell Ramen, which includes insanely hot Ghost and Scorpion peppers, competing to be the first to finish in the allotted 20-minutes, and win a $100 cash prize and bragging rights. $25 advance registration is required, and includes Hell Ramen and a commemorative Great Chicago Fire Hell Ramen Challenge T-shirt.
