Ivan Iričanin, CEO & Founder of Street Guys Hospitality, has officially opened the doors of his Balkan-inspired restaurant, Ambar. Offering its Unlimited Tasting Experience, guests can embark on a journey through the Balkans with over 30 made-to-order tapas-style plates, offered at a fixed price for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The menu puts a modern spin on traditional Balkan dishes, featuring home-cooked flavors like Ćevapčići, a housemade beef Balkan Kebab with spicy feta spread, Stuffed Peppers made with orzo, almond velouté, and Tuscan kale instead of the usual ground beef and root vegetables, and Eggplant Moussaka reimagined with a mushroom ragu and long pepper béchamel in place of the traditional beef and tomato sauce.
The wine and beverage offers the flavors of the Balkans, with Wine Consultant Jelena Prodan curating a selection of wines from small, boutique Balkan producers that celebrate the region's winemaking heritage. The menu also features Rakia, a handcrafted fruit brandy that is the national drink of the region, offering a taste of the area's heritage, along with cocktails crafted in collaboration with Serbian-founded UnOrdinary Hospitality.
