The Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago's celebration will kick off on March 13th and continue through March 17th. With nine sessions spread across five days, the brewery will offer an indoor-outdoor celebration including a tap list with both locally brewed beers and Dublin-brewed favorites, a menu full of St. Patrick’s Day fare, live entertainment, and a fully stocked retail shop with St. Patrick’s Week merchandise that can only be found at the Open Gate Brewery. Wake ‘n Bacon in East Lakeview will offer themed cocktails including the Pot of Gold with Ketel One Peach and Orange Blossom, orange juice, Calamansi Sour Mix, and peach syrup, and the Shamrock Sparkler with Tito's Vodka, lemon juice, kiwi syrup, Kinky Green Liqueur, and Choya Sparkling Ume.

The Rambler Kitchen + Tap in North Center will open early at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 16. Two $30 per person food and drink packages will be available throughout the day for guests who book a table of 4 to 6.

This year, you can leave the Irish soda bread baking up to baker Greg Wade and the Publican Quality Bread team. Honoring the traditional Irish method, the team leavens the dough with baking soda instead of yeast, resulting in a crumbly texture that's flavored with caraway seeds and dried shallots.

In addition to offering their usual brunch menu and bar offerings (featuring bottomless bubbles, mimosas, and Bloody Marys galore!), Executive Chef Marcel Heiduk is going all in with a handful of specials available just for the weekend. Chicago Electric Boat Company
Hop aboard one of Chicago Electric Boat Company’s new heated 22-foot Luxury Duffy Boats, which are fully enclosed with personal space heaters, and a BYOB cruise down green water. Each boat can fit up to 12 people and is complete with a Bluetooth sound speaker and coolers of ice to keep your choice of Irish food and booze chilled for the whole voyage. Plus for St. Patrick’s Day only, boats with up to six passengers will be provided an expert captain from Chicago Electric Boat Company’s team, so everyone in your crew can just sit back for the ride. The Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago's celebration will kick off on March 13th and continue through March 17th. With nine sessions spread across five days, the brewery will offer an indoor-outdoor celebration including a tap list with both locally brewed beers and Dublin-brewed favorites, a menu full of St. Patrick’s Day fare, live entertainment, and a fully stocked retail shop with St. Patrick’s Week merchandise that can only be found at the Open Gate Brewery. The week will include a proper Chicago Block Party on Saturday, March 16 through Sunday, March 17.
Options will include limited-edition St. Patrick’s Week Beers including a Clover Honey Ale, an Irish Breakfast Tea Amber Ale, an Irish Coffee-Inspired Beer and Dublin classics like Harp Lager, Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale and the iconic Guinness Draught Stout.

The Brunch Package will run 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and features corned beef hash, eggs, sausage, potato, french toast, and chicken tenders along with mimosas, bloody marys, and green draft beer. The Owl
Located in Logan Square, The Owl will celebrate Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a drink combo featuring a pint of Guinness and a shot of Jameson for $9 along with $8 Irish Mules. The Graystone Tavern in Wrigleyville will host a St. Patrick’s Day Pajama Party on Sunday, March 17 at 11 a.m. The party will feature a $30 drink package available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m that includes Guinness, Proper 12 Cold Brew, Mimosas, and Bloody Marys. Party-goers can pair their drinks with bottomless pancakes available for $10.
Guests can partake in the festivities in Graystone’s winterized, heated beer garden. The space features string lights overhead, seven TVs, and games like bags, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4.
Sweet Mandy B's
Sweet Mandy B’s, the old fashioned bakeshop in Lincoln Park and Streeterville, will offer St. Patrick’s Day-themed treats available from Wednesday, March 13 through Sunday, March 17. To bring to parties or even to treat friends and family, there will be Lucky Charms Rice Krispies, Shamrock Cupcakes, Shamrock Cut-Out Cookies, Pot of Gold Cupcakes and a specialty Luck of the Irish Cupcake with chocolate Guinness cake and Bailey’s buttercream.
Remedy
In recognition of the legend associated with St. Patrick, who stood atop an Irish hillside and banished the snakes from Ireland, Remedy will offer a “Day O’ The Snakes” special available all weekend featuring $6 Snake Bites. St. Patrick’s Day party-goers can choose drinks and vibes at Remedy until 5 a.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. on Sunday.
Estelle's
Estelle's will keep the St. Patrick’s Day party going until 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 and 4 a.m. on Sunday, March 17 with a drink combo featuring Guinness with a shot of Jameson for $12. Party-goers who arrive early can choose Estelle’s half-price happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.
Easy Bar
To celebrate Paddy’s Day weekend, on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17, Easy Bar will open at 4 p.m. for a half-price happy hour until 6 p.m. Themed specials available all weekend will include $8 Guinness and non-alcoholic Guinness along with $7 Jameson shots.

ravelle offers sweeping views of the Chicago River on the second floor of The Langham. Guests can reserve a seat or table in the window-framed bar + lounge and choose a brunch experience from Executive Chef Damion Henry.
The menu will feature Irish breakfast items including a Classic Shepherd's Pie with Colorado Lamb, Corn Beef and Cabbage Hash, and Baked Egg Shakshuka. Additional menu offerings include a selection of French pastries, items from the Langham’s signature breakfast such as a Poached Egg Benedict with Canadian Bacon and Green Goddess Hollandaise, and a seafood display featuring seasonal oysters and chilled jumbo shrimp.

Additonally, The Langham’s Ice Cream Social pop-up located on the hotel’s outdoor plaza. Alongside the Chicago River, the pop-up is reopening for just one day (Saturday, March 16) in celebration of the holiday. Parade-goers can visit the plaza to select homemade, limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day artisan gelato flavors.
The specialty gelato flavors include Bailey’s Irish Cream, Lucky Charm, Double Chocolate Obsession and Madagascar Vanilla. Guests can customize their treats by swirling the flavors together or adding toppings such as a green cotton candy cloud, rainbow sprinkles, lucky charms crunch, and more. The Ice Cream Social menu will also feature a Valentino Hot Chocolate served with toasted marshmallow and whipped cream.

The Royal Sonesta Downtown Hotel
The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown offers a vantage point of the Chicago Green River Dyeing, perched 39 stories high in the sky. Green beer will be flowing at Hoyt's Chicago during the ground-level river dyeing celebrations, with music, Irish-inspired dishes, cocktails, and more. Along the river's edge, a full bar and bites will be offered. Specialty drinks, jello shots, cans of Guinness Beer, and green beer will be available. Irish-inspired options such as corned beef sandwiches and Irish nachos will also be offered. The festivities kick off with DJs starting at 8 am. Entry is free but you can reserve your spot on Eventbrite.
