Prairie Grass Cafe (601 N. Skokie Blvd. in Northbrook) is hosting a St. Patrick's celebration, Sunday, March 15 – Tuesday, March 17.
If you're stopping in on Sunday, March 15 for brunch, you will be offered a special St. Patrick's Corned Beef Hash topped with a poached egg and served with sautéed potatoes and all natural (no food coloring) green Hollandaise sauce ($16.50). The full brunch menu is also available.
Chef/Owners Sarah Stegner and George Bumbaris will be offering a special dip for the holiday: Sauerkraut, Shredded Corned Beef, homemade Thousand Island dressing and Swiss cheese, served in a crock with rye toast crostini ($12.50) on Monday, March 16 at both lunch and dinner.
On St. Patrick Day, Tuesday, March 17, they will offer their traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner accompanied by a slice of homemade Irish soda bread ($24.50).
Guinness ($6.50) will be available as well as a special cocktail, Irish Eyes are Smiling, Jameson, Bailey's and local cream ($13).
