SLYCE Coal Fired Pizza Company has announced the opening of its fourth location at 5500 North River Road inside the Embassy Suites Hotel in Rosemont.
“We’re thrilled to join the Rosemont restaurant community,” says Laurie Barth, who co-founded SLYCE with her daughter Brittany in 2010. “We’re excited to bring our passion for handcrafted artisanal pizza to the area’s many residents, professionals, and out-of-town guests. Our difference is the crispiness and perfectly charred taste that’s fueled by the high heat of our clean-burning, coal-fired ovens.”
While the SLYCE's pizza dominates the menu, SLYCE offers a variety of options, from coal-fired wings, sandwiches and small plates to salads with scratch-made dressings, gelato, and classic Italian desserts. The restaurant also features a seasonal rotation of signature craft cocktails and a selection of wine and beer.
SLYCE is committed to using the best quality ingredients possible, sourcing locally grown or raised products whenever possible, and using only premium hormone-free dairy products.
“At SLYCE, less is more,” says Brittany Barth. “We have a simple yet varied menu that allows us to focus special attention on every ingredient that comes into our restaurants. Our fresh toppings are delicately placed – not piled on – to create perfectly balanced pies.”
The 3000-square-foot restaurant is fronted by a bar that’s open late for libations and light bites, with private event space for parties of 15-70. In addition to private dining experiences, SLYCE Rosemont offers carry-out, delivery, and catering services.
