Slurping Turtle, the original River North ramen shop and sushi restaurant, is excited to channel the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a tasty new ramen bowl for the month of March: Shamrock Shoyu. This delicious slurp is made with housemade mustard noodles in a shoyu broth, with sliced corned beef, mustard greens, a vegetable medley (cabbage, red bell pepper, shiitake mushroom), scallions, a poached egg, and horseradish cream on top!
Shamrock Shoyu might only be available for the month of March, but Slurping Turtle’s permanent dishes and slurps will always have your back. If you enjoy St. Patrick’s Day festivities a little too much, visit Slurping Turtle for Sunday brunch and make up for those bad decisions with some Morning After Chahan—Japanese fried rice with egg, a vegetable medley, scallions, sesame seeds and stir-fried with spicy pork miso, all topped with fried chicken, kimchi, bean sprouts and bok choy!
WHEN/WHERE:
Slurping Turtle
116 W. Hubbard St.
Chicago
Shamrock Shoyu is $16 and available until March 31.
