On Wednesday, February 22, SideDoor, the gastropub offering versions of classic fare at Lawry’s The Prime Rib, hosts a paired wine dinner in partnership with The Prisoner Wine Company. Beginning at 7 p.m., John Samaritano of Prisoner Wine Company leads guests through the dinner, highlighting four California wines paired with four courses curated by SideDoor Executive Chef Leonard Delgado.
Guests are welcomed with a reception highlighting Hazelnut & Orange Rosewater Couscous with Asparagus & Feta, along with Almond-Stuffed Dates wrapped in Nueske’s Bacon. Chef Delgado creates a globally-inspired menu combining Asian, Italian, Mexican, and American flavors, including a Short Rib Gyoza, Ricotta Gnocchi, and an American Wagyu Coulotte. To conclude the dinner, guests enjoy a dessert wine paired with house-made Churros and Mexican chocolate ganache, burnt caramel sauce, crème anglaise ice cream, and salted pepitas.
