Shake Shack has announced its newest Chicago location in Willis Tower on Wednesday, October 16th at 11 a.m. The Shack will be located at 316 W. Jackson Blvd (by the SkyDeck entrance) and will be part of Catalog, the more than 300,000 square-feet curated dining, entertainment and community experience, as well as a 30,000 square-feet outdoor deck and garden, evolving at the base of Willis Tower.
In addition to the classics, the Willis Tower Shack will be spinning up a selection of frozen custard concretes:
Pie Oh My - Vanilla custard blended with Bang Bang Pie seasonal pie
The Shack will also feature the Chicago Exclusive Publican Pork Sausage, a split and griddled pork sausage from the Chicago group, topped with Shack cheddar and American cheese sauce and crispy ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots.
Guests can wash their burgers down with local brews from Founders Brewing Co., Half Acre Beer Company, and Revolution Brewing plus Shake Shack’s exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale. Wine lovers will have the option of Shack RedTM and Shack WhiteTM wine from the Gotham Project.
As part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good, The Willis Tower Shack will donate 5% of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete to Greater Chicago Food Depository, a nonprofit that provides food to hungry people across Chicago.
The 3,158 square-foot Shack will feature ample seating for guests. In keeping with Shake Shack’s commitment to green architecture and eco-friendly construction, the Willis Tower Shack’s tabletops will be made by CounterEvolution using reclaimed bowling alley lanes; chairs will be designed by Uhuru using sustainable materials; and booths will be crafted by Staach using lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
