Mordecai announces their partnership with Cubs Charities in September to support their mission of utilizing the power of sports to champion youth, families, and communities. All month long, Mordecai will donate a portion of the proceeds from every '7 Hour Rain Delay' cocktail sold to assist this organization in making a difference. 

  • Fistful of Fernet Monday, September 18th @ 6pm

A Fernet Branca themed event with a Fistful of Fernet. They will be slinging a one-night-only industry-priced cocktail menu set to the tunes of Italian Prog-Punk, Italo-Disco, and more! Cocktail specials include Fernet & Coke, Fernet Daiquiri, Hanky Panky, Menta Grasshopper, and Espresso Martin . Shots include Fernet Branca or Menta, Ferrari, and 1980s Hard Start. 

  • Bottoms Up! Thursday, September 28th from 7pm - 11pm

BOTTOMS UP! is a monthly queer event in the heart of Wrigleyville. Mordecai's cocktails and a vintage shot menu will be offered.

  • Hurricane - 12-year Barbados rum, navy strength Jamaican rum, Agricole, passionfruit, lime, strawberry
  • Margarita - tequila blanco & reposado, zoranj anmé, agave, lime, a surprise 
  • Sazerac - rye, armagnac, peychaud’s, pernod   * Gibson - India dry gin, genever, chamomile vermouth, ramp bitters, cocktail onion   * Cosmo - charred lime and cranberry vodka, orange liqueur, salted citrus oleo, lime

$9 Shots Include:

  • Buddy Cole - 1980s Midori, vodka, acidified pineapple
  • Sappho - early aughts vanilla vodka, 1990s la grande passion, proseccoo
  • Video Head Cleaner - 1990s Italian coffee liqueur, 1970s 100 proof Smirnoff
  • Mattichine - vodka, 1980s amaretto, 1980s strawberry, cream
  • Divine - 1990s lemon vodka, 1960s curacao, lemon
