In honor of Month of a Military Child for April, Sanfratello's Pizzeria is partnering with Our Military Kids, Inc., a nonprofit that provides support and recognition to military children of deployed, reserve and wounded and fallen warriors from all branches of service. Every Monday throughout the month of April, Sanfratello’s will be donating 10% of its total proceeds to the organization, which provides grants to children that pay for fees associated with athletic, fine arts, and tutoring programs.
100% of the monies collected will contribute to grants for children from ages three through the 12th grade. “At Sanfratello’s, family comes first. We strongly believe that every child should be able to participate the activities and learning initiatives that build their confidence and reduce the stress of bing without a parent present for long periods of time.” says second-generation owner Joe Sanfratello, Jr. “It is an honor for us to partner with Our Military Kids, and to make a difference in the lives of the children of the men and women who serve our great country.”
Sanfratello’s is asking families to show their support for the cause by making Mondays in April pizza night!
Between April 2005 and February 2016, Our Military Kids has provided close to 53,500 grants totaling nearly $22.1 million to children of service members from every branch of the military living in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam and the District of Columbia.
