Same Day Cafe Adds Dinner Service Under New Chef

Logan Square's Same Day Cafe recently launched dinner service under the command of newly appointed Chef Jazer Syed. Syed was most recently chef-in-residency at Theaster Gates’ Retreat at Currency Exchange Cafe and prior to that sous chef at Cafe Marie Jeanne and Rootstock under Chef Mike 'Bunny' Simmons. The new evening menu is influenced by Chef Syed’s Indian, Filipino and Detroit roots alongside a soda fountain inspired cocktail program, approachable wines by the glass and aromatized wine spritzes.

Same Day Cafe's sandwiches and soda fountain offerings will remain available during daytime service.
