In honor of 40 successful years of business, Rosebud Restaurants invites guests to celebrate with a commemorative 40th Anniversary Menu highlighting a collection of signature dishes Rosebud made famous. In crafting the anniversary menu, Alex Dana, founder of Rosebud Restaurants, Inc., said, "My personal motto is to keep it simple, keep it good, and keep it coming. Our menu is made up of staple Italian dishes that have been our guest's favorites for 40 years and are what have made us successful. Cavatelli, Square Noodles, Chicken Vesuvio, and sausage and peppers are still some of our best sellers. These basic dishes gave Chicago chefs a base on which to build their own special creations."
The anniversary menu is available at all Rosebud locations (excluding Joe Fish) for dinner only and will through Wednesday, September 30. The menu features Rosebud Pappardelle ($21), their famous square noodles, Rosebud Original Eggplant Salad ($14), Filet Italiano ($45), Chicken Vesuvio ($27), Chivalini Italian Sausage with Rapini ($17), and The 1975 Cocktail ($12) made with Langley's Gin No. 8, Elderflower Cordial, lemon, strawberry, rose prosecco.
Corporate Chef Joe Farina, who worked closely with Mr. Dana on compiling the anniversary menu stated, "At Rosebud, we use the highest quality ingredients to craft all of our menu items. The featured items on our 40th anniversary menu showcase that quality, like the Grilled Chivalini Sausage with fresh rapini or hand cut Square Noodles with homemade marinara sauce."
Mr. Dana went on to say; "Rosebud has been a leader in the Chicago restaurant scene for years innovating with items such as our unique eggplant salad and our square noodles. We helped to set the bar high on dining out in Chicago and continue to look for ways to delight our guests". He encourages guests to enter Rosebud's Memory Contest, currently running now through September 30. Guests who share their favorite Rosebud memory on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and use the hashtag #RosebudTurns40, will be entered to win Rosebud food for a year*.
