River Roast has debuted a new
beverage program led by beverage manager, Ken Pritz. The program takes Pritz’s
passion for classic cocktails and modernizes them with a fresh twist, including
a new happy hour program and a specially curated cocktail menu.
The new program focuses on refined
interpretations of classic cocktail families, emphasizing seasonal ingredients
and quality spirits. Guests will also notice an influence from European
cocktails.
“We’re taking classic cocktails that everyone is familiar with and giving them a River Roast touch.” - Ken Pritz
Beyond the cocktail menu, Pritz is bringing local Midwestern beers to River Roasts’ 13 rotating taps. He is also expanding the wine menu to include varieties that guests are familiar with as well as having an emphasis on sustainable farming techniques. He’ll be highlighting the new world while still paying homage to the old world. Expect to see wines from the classics France, Italy and Spain, but don’t be surprised to find a few from Argentina and Chile as well.
A feature of the new beverage program includes River Roast’s new Happy Hour Package, available for $35 per person. For two hours, parties receive a series of passed hors d’oeuvres and a specialty beverage package including local beers, red and white wines, and a selection of spirits. Hors d’ oeuvres include a Slider Station, drive thru burger, pulled pork and coleslaw and crispy chicken served with house made chips; Golden Gobbets, seasoned chicken with honey; BBQ Chicken Quesadillas with ancho chile cream; Preserved Fruit & Goat Cheese served on walnut crostini; and Tomato Bruschetta with spiced ricotta and French bread.
