Cartoon Network fans can now visit Replay Lincoln Park for an experience celebrating cartoons. Cartoon Cartoon, launching this Friday, August 18 and running through Saturday, September 16, is inspired by Cartoon Network favorites and will transport attendees back to the late 90s and early 2000s.
“Cartoon Network was the ultimate source of entertainment growing up for countless children and parents,” said Mark Kwiatkowski, owner of Replay Lincoln Park. “This upcoming Cartoon Network inspired pop-up will be a great opportunity to relive those memories and celebrate the network's thirty-one years of entertaining generations of kids and adults alike!”
Upon arrival, fans of the network are invited to strike a pose with themed photo-ops inspired by characters from shows like "The Powerpuff Girls," "Dexter's Laboratory," "Johnny Bravo," and more! Grab a themed cocktail on rotation such as Stupid Dog!, Grim Adventures and Jolly Good Show, as well as the Finn and Jake slushie drinks or the Cartoon Cartoons shots. Patrons can also jam to weekly live throwback DJ sets, and choose weekly Saturday and Sunday afternoon viewing parties of some of the network’s shows, with all the classic sugary cereals included.
Replay will also host inspired trivia events during its run including Adventure Time Trivia on August 24from 7:00 to 9:00 pm where teams will be quizzed on the adventures of Finn, Jake & friends, with the top teams winning $100 cash. General Cartoon Network Trivia will also take place on August 31 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm to celebrate the channel turning thirty-one years.
