Get your game on, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans. In celebration of the release of the game, Replay Lincoln Park is hosting a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Launch Weekend Extravaganza in collaboration with Unrivaled Tournaments, beginning Thursday, December 6 through Sunday, December 9. With themed drinks, specially-created art and the opportunity to try their hand at the newest game in style, guests are invited all weekend for free open play, where individuals may bring their own consoles and play with up to eight friends per console or linking consoles together with the game, or participate in casual and competitive tournaments using communal consoles for a variety of prizes.
The official weekend of free events includes a Launch Night Character Unlock Party on Thursday, December 6 from 11 p.m. – 2 a.m. for guests to familiarize themselves with the game once it is released and rolling eight-person casual and competitive tournaments on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The winner of each rolling tournament will win entry into one of the invitational tournaments being held on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9 with a grand prize of $100 cash.
Available for this weekend only, Replay Lincoln Park is offering Super Smash Bros. Ultimate inspired drinks including Smashball with white and dark rum, blue curacao, crème de cacao, coconut rum and lime, No Justice for Waluigi with vodka, elderflower liqueur, pamplemousse blueberry, lemon and Sprite, 20XX with tequila, lemon, yellow chartreuse and maraschino, Hoo Hah with bourbon, horchata cream, banana, crème de cacao, and more. The mini pop up, which is running in tandem with the current ‘The Office’ Christmas Party pop-up, offers several photo opportunities for fans with art courtesy of local artists.
