Replay Lincoln Park, 2833 N. Sheffield Ave., newest pop up is: Stranger Bar. This pop-up is now open to the public and runs through October 31. Stranger Bar features themed drinks paying homage to the show, plus photo opportunities throughout such as the ABC wall, Vecna’s Mind Lair with an appearance from Vecna themself, themed events planned including a live concert with The Chicago Philharmonic playing favorites from the show, plus live 80’s music, and 80’s arcade games in the Palace Arcade to help bring this pop-up to life. This event is 21+ and all games are free, with no reservations, tickets, or tokens required.
Guests now have the opportunity to experience the town of Hawkins with themed events surrounding the latest season of the show. Events scheduled include a Hellfire Social Dungeons & Dragons tournament on October 9th, 80’s karaoke nights on October 13th & 20th,Eddie Munson’s Graduation on October 28th, Hawkins’ Snowball, an 80’s homecoming dance TBD, and 80’s metal air guitar nights and DJ’s mixing 80’s beats every Thursday through Saturday. In addition, on Friday, October 21 beginning at 8pm, Replay will host a live concert with The Chicago Philharmonic, who will be performing selections derived from the Stranger Things soundtrack including Thriller, Master of Puppets, Running Up That Hill, among other favorites. Patrons can purchase tickets for $25 each via Tock, which includes two drinks. Patrons are encouraged to dress like their favorite characters.
