The West Loop's Recess, hosts ‘Share Your Harvest’ this month, an open-air, walk-through market featuring local Chicago vendors and fall activities. 

Every Thursday through Sunday starting November 12, the pop-up market offers an outdoor experience celebrating the community and supporting local businesses through these difficult times, while safely abiding all new regulations on Recess’s expansive patio.

The following activities are included with each ticket:

·       S’mores Station — 1 individual s'more kit

·       Turkey Bowling — 2 frames per ticket

·       Bobbing for Apples — using claws instead of the traditional method to stay safe

·       Holiday Photoshoot with professional photographer — 1 digital copy of the photo of your choice included; additional copies available for purchase at an additional cost

·       Fall Outdoor Workouts on the weekends starting at 10am — space is limited and it is first come first serve. 

The market features local vendors including: Uncooked, offering plant-based, grab-and-go eats; Sisterly Cakes, holiday-themed chocolates and chocolate bombs that look like little turkeys; Sky Lyte Candles, a local family-owned candle company; and many more.

WHEN: Thursday through Sunday starting Nov. 12, starting at 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday

WHERE: Recess, 838 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL 60642 

WHY: In the spirit of giving, a portion of all ticket sales will benefit the local nonprofit, Strength In The City, who focuses on bringing health and wellness to local communities. The funds raised will benefit their Chicago's NEXT mentorship program enriching the lives of inner-city youth.

TICKETS: Tickets are required and allow guests entrance to the market and activities for 1-hour time blocks, available for purchase on Eventbrite here. VIP tickets are $20 per person and include a Recess-branded campfire mug; regular adult tickets are $15 and children under 12 are $5. Outdoor tables are not included with tickets but can be reserved on OpenTable here.
