This February, Raised | An Urban Rooftop Bar is hosting a special series of pop-up markets featuring local artisans and vendors at its downtown location alongside the Chicago River. Every Tuesday beginning on Feb. 1, the cocktail lounge will host woman-owned and black-owned Chicago businesses in its space from 6 to 9 p.m.

The pop-up vendors’ offerings range from books, vintage and sustainable goods, accessories and gifts, and hand-dyed apparel. The participating local businesses include the bookstore, Semicolon, owned by Danielle Mullen; an eco-boutique, The Shudio, owned by Merl Kinzie; a woman-focused gift store, Love Peridot, owned by D’Cher Whitaker; and the natural textile clothier, Laila Textiles, owned by Liz Mortensen.

Each week guests will be able to sip on signature craft cocktails at Raised while shopping at that week's local pop-up vendor booth inside the rooftop bar. Attendance is free and open to the public; no reservations or tickets are required.
