A piece of Wicker Park heads to The Loop. Revival Food Hall has announced the fourth installment of its quarterly rotating pop-up series with Pub Royale, the Anglo-Indian-inspired pub from Heisler Hospitality, joining the all-local, chef-driven food hall from October 1st through December 28th.
Known for her takes on Indian fare and flavors, Pub Royale Chef Joanna Stachon heads to Revival from Wicker Park to tackle the Loop’s bustling lunch scene with an eclectic menu of the restaurant’s most popular items, such as the Royale with Cheese, Gobi Manchurian and more.
Chef Stachon and her team will launch a pared-down version of their Pub Royale menu filled with guest favorites for the pop-up at Revival. During the three-month stint, look forward to offerings such as the Chicken Tikka Kati Roll made with a whole wheat Indian flat bread called paratha, cilantro, caramelized onion and cotija cheese, or the Royale with Cheese — their cheeseburger with a cult-following that's made with spicy pickles, aged cheddar and diced onions — as well as sides of crispy fries with house made aioli. In true Pub Royale fashion, there will be plenty of vegetarian and gluten free items available including the Gobi Manchurian made with crispy cauliflower, sesame, and a house made sweet and spicy Manchurian sauce, and the Eggplant Curry with cashew, coconut, cilantro and basmati rice.
