On January 16th, Prince Street Pizza will open its doors in Chicago, marking the brand’s first location in the Midwest. Located at 939 West Randolph St, Prince Street Pizza will offer its Sicilian-style, square slices, Neapolitan pizzas, and sauces.
Along with Co-Founder and CEO Lawrence Longo, restaurateur and chef David Choi, owner of Seoul Taco, helps to bring Prince Street Pizza’s 15th location to the Chicago market as managing operator. The 2,800 sq ft. space opens on Raldolph’s "Restaurant Row”. Prince Street will serve their slices and pies that are made daily from scratch, as well as utilize a water filtration process, replicating the water used at the original location in New York City.
Beyond their classic Sicilian Soho Square pizzas, the Spicy Spring with fra diavolo Sauce, pepperoni, fresh Mozzarella, Pecorino Romano; Prince Perfection with marinara sauce, fresh Mozzarella and Pecorino Romano; and The Spicy Vodka with Spicy Vodka Sauce, fresh Mozzarella and Pecorino Romano, Prince Street pizza will be offering one specialty pizza sold exclusively in Chicago-featuring the pepperonis, sausage, Green peppers, with Caruso's hot relish and Caruso's hot giardiniera. For customers who like round pizzas with thin, crispy crust, Prince Street will have Neapolitan Pizza dishes such as: The Green Machine with Nut-Free Pesto Sauce, Shredded Mozzarella, Ricotta, Black Olives and The Oakey Smokey with Original Pizza Sauce, Smoked Mozzarella, Pecorino Romano, Fresh Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Since opening in Los Angeles in 2020, Prince Street Pizza has introduced small Pizzettas; Salads and Risotto Balls as well as desserts including New York Cheesecake and Italian Rainbow Cake to the menu.
“We are thrilled to open Prince Street Pizza in Chicago as it’s one of the greatest food cities in America, known for its incredible pizza. Our signature Sicilian pies are a great balance between the city's famous Tavern and Deep Dish styles and we look forward to introducing them on Randloph’s Restaurant Row. It’s an honor to be surrounded by some of the best restaurants in Chicago, in a neighborhood with such a vibrant food culture,” says Prince Street Pizza Co-Founder, Lawrence Longo.
