Prairie Grass Cafe (601 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook), the Northbrook restaurant led by Chef Sarah Stegner and Chef George Bumbaris, will celebrate the first night of Passover with both dine-in and takeout options.

On Saturday, April 12, Prairie Grass Cafe will offer a special Passover Dinner Package for Two available for pickup between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m.  Dine-in reservations are also available for those who wish to celebrate in the restaurant’s dining room.

“We’re honored to help families celebrate this meaningful holiday,” said Chef Sarah Stegner. “Whether you’re gathering around your own table or joining us at ours, we want the food to feel personal and comforting — and to reflect the tradition of sharing.”

The Passover Dinner Package for Two includes:
•    Matzah Ball Soup
•    Matzah
•    Mixed Green Salad with Apples, Pomegranate Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, and Balsamic Vinaigrette
•    Slow-Braised All-Natural BBQ Brisket (substitutable with Roasted Chicken upon request)
•    Cauliflower Mash & Roasted Carrots
•    Apple Kugel – a cherished recipe gifted by a close friend of Chef Sarah**
•    Flourless Chocolate Cake

A la carte options are also available, including:

•    Chef Sarah’s Chopped Chicken Liver (½ pint,)
•    Additional Apple Kugel (2 pieces)
•    Extra slices of Flourless Chocolate Cake
