Pigtail, the first speakeasy-style concept from Chef José Andrés and ThinkFoodGroup, is offering a special experience for cocktail aficionados and jamón lovers alike this March.

On Thursday, March 10, Pigtail will host Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal for a night of tasting, specifically highlighting Del Maguey Ibérico mezcal. Already available in two cocktails on Pigtail’s list — Andres & Cooper and Around The World in 80 Days — Del Maguey Ibérico is hand-crafted in the village of Santa Catarina Minas in Oaxaca, Mexico, naturally fermented and distilled three times in ancestral clay stills. The twist? A full leg of Ibérico ham is used in the third distillation, providing a distinct flavor and experience.

At the event, guests will receive tastings of this rare Ibérico mezcal as well as another one of Del Maguey’s single village offerings, an espadin from Chichicapa. The Spanish purveyor, Cinco Jotas, will also be on-site, hand-carving slices of jamón for tasting. Tickets are $25 per person and include mezcal tastings, a mini cocktail and jamón. Tickets are available on TOCK.

The Del Maguey cocktails and neat pours of the Ibérico mezcal will be on special offer, and additional cocktails and food will be available for purchase a la carte.
