Petterino’s Monday Night Live (MNL), the impromptu musical showcase hosted by Denise McGowan Tracy and Beckie Menzie is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a series of Monday night events beginning at 7:30 p.m. Petterino’s is located in the heart of the theatre district in Chicago’s Loop at 150 N. Dearborn.
MNL began a decade ago with a simple concept - provide a unique entertainment option in Chicago's theater district on a typically "dark night". Monday Night Live has blended a sophisticated setting, professional atmosphere and appreciative audience for established and emerging singers to try out new work or simply have some fun.
Nearly 800 singers have stepped onto the stage over the years. Cast members from dozens of touring and local productions from theaters including The Goodman, The Lyric Opera, Porchlight Music Theatre, Kokandy Productions, Broadway in Chicago, and many others have popped up in MNL’s audience. Jazz artists, cabaret performers, opera singers, pop vocalists have also shared their musical talents.
Petterino’s Monday Night Live 10th Anniversary Celebration Series
The anniversary celebration will run for a month every Monday through October 16. Each evening will feature $10 wine bottle specials; and a complimentary slice of birthday cake and Champagne toast for guests.
October 2 – Special guests from the cast of Billy Elliott at Porchlight Music Theatre
October 9 – Special performance from the cast of Rock of Ages at Drury Lane Theatre
October 16 – Special guests from the cast of the regional theatre premiere of Fun Home at Victory Gardens Theater

As always, audience members may dine on the extensive Petterino’s menu and avail themselves of the MNL special menu, as follows:
The Dynamic Duo cocktail celebrates vivacious co-hosts Beckie and Denise; gin, pomegranate, orange juice and lime juice, $10.
Featured starters, choice of one: Choice of Tomato Bisque or Soup of the Day; Caesar Salad or Petterino’s Salad; or Crispy Fried Calamari.
Featured entrees, choice of one: Five Cheese Ravioli, burrata, pomodoro sauce; One Hundred Layer Lasagna, parmesan, ricotta, and Bolognese; Almond Crusted Whitefish, vegetable gratin; or Chicken Pot Pie, all white meat, asparagus, baby carrots, peas, green onions.
